GERMAN VILLAGE
Associate Dentist
Originally from Cleveland, Dr. O’Connor has come to love Columbus after beginning his higher education journey at OSU in 2013. He attended the Ohio State University for both his undergraduate degree in Biochemistry and his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree.
Dr. O’Connor is a first-generation dentist who strives to provide a safe, comfortable dental home for all his patients. He believes the best results in dentistry come when patients are educated and involved in decisions guiding their oral health.
While not practicing dentistry, Dr. O’Connor and his fiancée Mary enjoy hiking, playing pickleball, exploring new restaurants and breweries, and cooking new recipes together on Sunday evenings. They have also recently started taking dance classes in preparation for their wedding in September of 2024.
Hygienist
Elizabeth's journey with German Village Dental Group goes back many years. She rejoined the team with the addition of the new Upper Arlington office in April 2024. She graduated from Indiana University School of Dental Hygiene in 2003 before moving to the Columbus area. She is married to Brad and they will be celebrating 20 years in February 2025! Elizabeth and Brad are the parents of 5 amazing kids, 2 cats and a dog! Elizabeth loves to travel and spend time with her family!
Dental Assistant
Bella has been at German Village Dental Group since the start of 2023! She received her education and certification from Columbus Dental Assisting. She hopes to one day be a dentist and is always eager to learn and gain experience in the office.
Outside of work, Bella is raising a puppy Eskimo Dog named Kimberly, and has been training to run marathons!
Office Manager
Justin has been with German Village Dental Group since 2012. He enjoys making sure that our patients have the best possible visit each and every time.
When he's not working, he enjoys watching movies, working in the yard, spending time with his wife Nikki and taking their dog Tater on walks.
Tater is the furry child of Dr. Nikki and Justin. He sometimes comes to the office to help his Mommy and Daddy! When he's not sleeping, you can find Tater eating food, swatting at his food bowl, or finding food in one of his special treasure hunts! Tater is a big ball of love and he likes to talk and give kisses.
Tater has an autoimmune disorder called Evans Syndrome, that doesn't allow him to have a normal doggy life. His body attacks and destroys his red blood cells and platelets which puts him at high risk. He will have to take special medicine and prescription food and treats for the rest of his life.
When Tater is not at work, he loves taking walks, cuddling, playing with his best friends and toys, trying to get in the pool, zoomies, and eating food.
Elijah is the youngest furry child of Dr. Nikki and Justin. This 21 pound bundle of spunk and love is blind and deaf, but that doesn't stop him from exploring and playing with his big brother, Tater!
Elijah was adopted from Speak for the Unspoken, which is a foster based special needs animal rescue. It is believed Elijah's disabilities are from irresponsible breeding of two merle dogs, making him a double merle. Double merles are highly likely to suffer from hearing and vision impairments and in some cases complete blindness and deafness. Elijah is able to see light and hear his brother's bark!
When Elijah Cheesecake is not following his Mommy and Daddy around, you can find him trying to wrestle Tater, playing tug, and cuddling under the blankets.
